These ladies are my "Charmed Ones". Michele, Minerva and Jennifer... My BFFs.
They influenced so much in my life while I was living in Reading, PA. They are like muses that inspire;my goddesses
that offer wisdom and guidance and my soul sisters that love me for who I am. Although we our bound spiiritually and are always
in my heart... I miss them so much. But at least we keep in touch. These three women had an opportunity to travel to Puerto
Rico and share a part of me that they had not had the opportunity to know. Minerva and Jennifer were instumental in convincing
me to return to Puerto Rico. I am glad they did. To be honest my bond with them is stronger then my own family, except
mom of course.

Jes K. I met this girl when I was working at Borders. If my BFFs were the 3 Musketeers then Jes would be the young
4th musketeer. She was really there for me when I was layed off from one of my jobs that I had worked for 5yrs. Jes
at that time was the cafe supervisor. Jennifer who was one of the managers, asked me if I wanted to work additional hours
and be cross-trained as a cafe barrista. I said yes and Jes took me under her wing and turned me into a very good barrista.
Even though she is about12 years younger then me, this girl kidnapped me a couple of times after work and infused fun and
youthfulness into my life again. She was my fashoin muse, disco diva, introduced me to fine and modern art, and we went together
to my first Gay NYC parade. That was a blast. She got to travel to Puerto Rico with me as well. My mom fell in love with her.
In the Bizarro World, she would have been Lois Lane to my Superman.......

Minerva, she truelly embodies her namesake. Minerva was the first BFF. Our friendship grew very slowly like a flower.
Minerva is very selective with picking friends. And truthfully we are total opposites. Pisces and Aries; Fire and
Water. We fight like if we were a married couple. Minerva never had brothers. So I guess I became her soul-brother.
We have worked together in two agencies, she was my boss once, and we have had some wild and crazy moments together. Minerva
was the one who convinced me to get in touch with my family who I had disowned for 8 years during my coming out journey.
When I reconnected with my family, I asked Minerva to accompany me to Puerto Rico to visit my mom during Thanksgiving 0f 2003.
She also traveled again with me in Spring of 2004. My mom of course adopted her right away. We keep in touch at least
twice a month by phone. I am strongly convincing her to spend this summer 0f 08 with me.
Michele and the Snyder Bunch. I met Michele at my first job in Reading. Michele would be the goddess of the Earth.
She looks after her family and her patients with a firm hand. She has a degree in Music Therapy and is an excellent
psychotherapist. Michele adopted me into her family. I babysat her kids when they were very young. I became Reymundo
the housekeeper at times. It was my alias when her family and friends would visit. I'd pretend to be thier housekeeper. (
I actually did it as a way to break the ice and dispel stereotypical beliefs of Latinos.) I became the uncle to her kids and
a loving brother to Michele. We would have Walmart dates Friday nights. Her husband Norman is an excellent cook.
Rochele is a cool young lady and Matthew is cool and caring young man. I became Mattew's spiritual godfather. Michele
and I have shared intimate info about each other and we counsel each other. She did not want me to leave when
I decided to move to Puerto Rico but we keep in touch and in the summer of 07, She came with her family to visit me.
We had a great time.

Jennifer. My goddess of Balance. Jennifer hired me when I applied at Borders. Her paramoure described me as the
"Happy Gay boy". We share the same birthday but her Fire element is very controlled. This girl is very calm and very level
headed when it comes to crisis situations. I have also seen people come to her for advice. I aspire to achieve the balance
she has. She has had a very interesting journey in life. If she continues on her current path she will achieve greatness.
She also told me to be always true to myself. She knows I love Superman and Wonder Woman and has given me gifts
related to my heroes. At my Farewell party in December of 05 , she gave me the hockey shirt that I have on in the
picture. Even without the gifts, she always makes me feel super.
